Residents of Chesterfield are reminded to use their resident’s permit, which allows them to park for free in most car parks before 10 a.m. and after 3 p.m. Monday to Saturday and all day on Sundays and holidays.
Many of you have asked for the market to improve. Elizabeth Shepherd said: “We are famous for being a market town, so reset it.” As part of the multi-million pound Chesterfield core revitalization program, Chesterfield Borough Council is working to “develop options for market design”. These options are expected to be available for comment as part of a public consultation this summer.
