Argos cuts liquidation toy prices by 50%

ARGOS cut toy prices by up to 50% during a big clearance sale.

Brands like Lego and Play-Doh are included in the basket where prices start at 99 pence.

Retailer slashed toy prices

As this is a clearance sale, promotional products will be available until sold out.

You can either order the toys via home delivery from £ 3.95 or click and collect at branches for free.

It is important to note that the item you want may be sold out online or it may already be out of stock at some locations.

This means that you may have to travel to collect your purchase if it is no longer available at your nearest Argos branch.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is being offered or is part of a sale, that doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that will check the prices for you – so don’t pay more than you need to.

Most of them work by comparing prices from hundreds of retailers.

Here are a few that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that allows users to search and compare product prices on the web. Simply enter keywords or a product number to display the search results.
  • Spy Award records an item’s cost history with over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay, and supermarkets. Once you’ve selected an individual product, you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which stores have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that allows you to compare prices between retailers. All buyers have to do is find the item they need and the website will rank them from cheapest to highest.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on products sold on Amazon. To use it, enter the URL of the product whose price you want to check.

Before parting with your money, you should always check to see if you can get a better price elsewhere.

Google Shopping is a useful and free tool for comparing prices with other retailers.
