It’s been a meager week on consoles to buy, but we’ve had two PS5 restockings from GAME and Very.
And the good news is that there are more on the way, some of which will only be open to those who sign up with an email address.
The latest PS5 stock update for the UK comes from Gamebyte, who have confirmed that they will be releasing more PS5 consoles very soon.
Gamebyte has confirmed that their next PS5 stock will be limited and will arrive soon.
However, unlike other retailers, Gamebyte is asking interested parties to register using email to avoid bots and scalpers.
In an effort to protect real gamers and battlebots, Gamebyte will send the purchase link to those who are registered on GameByte’s mailing list.
Gamebyte has only listed the disc version of the PlayStation 5 console and those lucky enough to get one will be limited to one purchase.
A post on the site adds, “We know it’s been a while since we’ve had a PS5 update. So we’re going to go straight there.
“We will have a limited number of bundles for the disc version of the PS5 very soon! These will be available to the community exclusively by email.
“To be notified, all you need to do is register using the form below. Note: These will only be available to UK residents and are limited to one per person. “
Based on the wording of the new announcement, Gamebyte’s next PS5 stock appears due out later this week (June 10 – June 11).
Other retailers will be offering inventory over the next few days and weeks, including ASDA, John Lewis, AO and ShopTo.
These are some of the retailers that could lose more stock this week, while others plan to go further.
Smyths Toys has been linked with a drop in PS5 shares in mid-June, which could mean next week.
Meanwhile, Argos is expected to receive its next big shipment before the end of the month, although no solid date has been confirmed.
Argos is expected to offer its final expedition in the final weeks of the year, possibly starting June 17.
Currys is another retailer that could offer a drop in inventory in June, but it is expected to be much smaller compared to previous events.
Knowing when a drop in stock is about to happen is very important, but it’s also worth knowing more about the site you are going to try to use.
Here are some examples of the best way to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from major UK retailers:
AMAZON UNITED KINGDOM: Amazon UK works best under power, but still has a few flaws that are worth mentioning. Having an account set up with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wishlist before checking out. More stock is expected before June 10.
ARGOS: Argos website has been known to crash and be unable to complete purchases when site traffic is high. Stock trackers suggest using the Argos mobile app and keeping an eye on local store listings. Argos should not receive any more stock before the end of June.
GAME: GAME is a UK retailer that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout, as this option is less likely to crash when making a purchase. GAME is expected to restock the PlayStation 5 within the next seven days.
