New reported that ICE verified Larissa’s immigration status on September 19, 2020, the same day she and her boyfriend Eric Nichols were due to move from Las Vegas to Colorado.

New, “Larissa was pulled over by ICE early this morning as she was getting into a U-Haul truck with her boyfriend, Eric Nichols, as she prepared to move to Colorado for a fresh start.” His representative said their team had “worked meticulously on his release and cleared up this misunderstanding.” comment.
