Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe has received a special message on his 26th birthday.
May 29 was a day of celebration for the Ivorian international, who finished the Premier League season in fine form with four goals in his last two appearances.
As a result, Arsenal fans are excited that Pepe could push next season and perhaps justify the club’s record-breaking fee of £ 72million spent on him in the summer 2019 transfer window. .
And it could be helped by the arrival of a close friend to Yves Bissouma as the Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder has been heavily linked with a summer move to Emirates Stadium.
Amid discussions about being reunited with Pepe, the 24-year-old has done very little to minimize the rumors.
After the last day of the Premier League campaign, he took a photo with Pepe and then sent fans into the overdrive on Tuesday afternoon with an Instagram post.
The Mali international shared a post from @ wilyfit_8 – believed to be the midfielder’s personal trainer – from a man sitting in a room with an Arsenal badge lying on the floor next to him.
And on Saturday, he once again caught the attention of Arsenal fans by sending Pepe a cute nine-word birthday message on social media.
“No more life brother,” wrote Bissouma on Instagram. “God protect you, love you.”
The post came after midfielder representatives sent Arsenal fans into a transfer frenzy after spotting a ‘clue’ about a deal being closed this summer.
Moreover, in a boost for the Gunners, Brighton chief Paul Barber is open to the possibility of allowing Bissouma to leave this summer.
“I don’t see this as a negative at all,” he said. Athletic. “The more the big clubs are interested in our players, the better we are doing, so I’m delighted.
